Support
Email support@countingmaster.app. The fastest way is from the app: Settings → Send feedback adds your app version and iPhone model, and can attach the result you are asking about.
Getting a good count
- Shoot straight on, with the whole group in the frame, in even light. The app warns about blur, glare, darkness, tilt and a smudged lens before you count.
- Items cut off by the photo edge show as dashed "unknown" rings. Tap one to count it, or Dismiss them all.
- Tap Check on the result to step through the spots it was unsure about, then tap to add or remove. When the count is right, tap Count is right.
- If a category counted the wrong thing, tap By example and tap one item instead.
- Before your first real count, tap Try a sample photo on the home screen to see how a result looks. Samples do not use a free count.
Saved items and teaching the app
- On an Anything result, tap Save as item and name it. Later, pick the item on the home screen, take the photo and tap one: it counts the rest.
- Add a count to an item with the bookmark on the result (Add to name).
- Each count you mark right with Count is right teaches the item. The ring on the item fills towards 20.
- At 20 checked counts the app trains a counter for that item on your iPhone: tap Train now on the item's page (long-press the item) and keep the app open for a few minutes, or let it run by itself while the iPhone is charging.
- When training finishes, tap Compare to see the new counter and the standard way side by side on your own photos, then choose which to keep. The other is deleted.
- Automatic counting from a trained item is part of Pro. Training itself runs for everyone, so your items are ready the moment you start the trial.
- "Counts well already" means the one-tap way is already at 97% or better on your photos, so there is nothing to gain from training.
- "Hard to learn" usually means the item is really two kinds of thing. Save them as two items.
- Delete item on its page removes the item, its photos and what it learned. Your counts stay in History.
Subscription
- The first 3 counts are free, and so are 3 saved items. Counting Master Pro is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, each with a 7-day free trial.
- Manage or cancel in the app under Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription, or in the iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Bought on another device? Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy
Counting and training run on your iPhone; photos are never uploaded. See the privacy policy.
Something else
Want a new category counted automatically? In the app, Settings → Request a feature lists what is planned; each tap is a vote. Until then, save the item and teach it.
